The Second Silver Innovators Competition 2019-20

Supported by Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund), HKCSS will be launching “The Second Silver Innovators’ Competition 2019-20” on April 1, 2019. The competition is sponsored by the Hong Kong Bank Foundation, and supported by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation and Hong Kong Design Centre.

This competition aims to encourage and promote innovative ideas to address the needs for elderly persons, so as to contribute ideas to make Hong Kong a more age-friendly city. The competition briefing will be held on 15 April and 4 pre-competition workshops will be organized from 21 to 30 May.

8 winners will be selected finally to receive up to HKD200,000 seed money to realize their ideas. The competition will be opened to both general public and interested parties such as social entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, NGO practitioners, etc. To apply, the applicant shall register its organization and the relevant personnel with the online application system prior to submitting the application proposal electronically. Applications will be accepted until 30 June, 2019.
