Social Enterprise Seminar:
Impact measurement, management and maximization in a changing environment
11/06/2020

The development of new models of service delivery in response to Covid-19 gives rise to new questions and challenges regarding how to measure, manage and maximize impact. NPOs and social enterprises are asking themselves whether new programs are meeting the needs on the ground, whether digital provision of services is as effective as in-person, and how to comply with data collection and reporting requirements in the face of reduced in-person interaction. At the same time, using evidence to measure and improve effectiveness can be tricky, time consuming and expensive, especially during a crisis. The current crisis exacerbates the need for innovative approaches to collect, analyze and utilize evidence to maximize impact.

The purpose of the webinar is to offer practical solutions for impact-driven organizations to better understand the effects of their programs in order to improve programming, target resources effectively, and communicate impacts to donors. By bringing together leading service provider organizations and impact measurement experts from Hong Kong and Singapore, this webinar aims to offer fresh and frank perspectives on this topic including:

  1. Sharing overall trends, frameworks, and best practices in the impact measurement arena
  2. Discussing challenges and opportunities on the ground by provider organizations
  3. Bridging theory and practice to deliver practical insights about how impact-driven organizations can strengthen their interventions and communicate their impact to funders and policy-makers in this changing context
