Social Enterprise Seminar:
How to select or change for a suitable legal form for your social enterprises?
15/10/2020

Many changemakers would consider social enterprise (SE) as one of the solutions to cope with the pressing challenges of our times. By attempting to solve social problems by creative and commercial means, SE is aimed to create a positive social impact to our community.

In Hong Kong, there is no legal definition, or a standard and specific legal form for SE. Choosing a suitable legal form, therefore, would be an important step to consider when setting up a SE. A suitable legal form would enhance the general performance of your SE, and help you to avoid legal pitfalls.

In this Business Clinic, Dr. Teresa Chu, member of the Law Society of Hong Kong, will share with us how to select a suitable legal form. Social entrepreneurs and individuals who are interested in setting up social enterprise are welcomed to join the seminar.
